Invitations are my passion. I love how they always come in the mail and you have a surprise element when opening them at home. The feel of the paper is always what makes an invitation unique and a good design is always the cherry on the top.

 

Though baby shower invitations are usually very cute and child-like. I wanted to focus on a very different approach. These invitations do not necessarily scream baby shower but have all the baby shower invitation qualities. The choice of paper was meant to showcase a craft like or hand made quality to this invitation. The colors were chosen specifically because the baby is a girl, but the earth tones and neutrals only made the lavender and pink stand out more. Lastly, the tree graphic was added to represent a new life.
