Pothos is one of my ultimate favorites when it comes to leaf plants. I admire the way they curl and can survive low light as well as indirect bright light. They are survivors and they look beautiful doing it. New leaves are always curling out of the stem making it a very exciting time for a plant lover, like me, to experience new growth. This plant is also great for growing in water and propagating the stems due to its easy going growing cycle.
In this art piece I wanted to showcase a beautiful green, healthy, plant that had one leaf ready to fall due to aging. Even though this leaf has left the mother plant, it had a fun twirl on the way down. I also wanted to play around with a bit of shading added into the plant itself to make it pop out of the page and make its beauty shine through. I am really enjoying the use of Procreate and am really learning new ways to do more fun drawings and animations ☺️.
